Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court directed the state police on Saturday to produce the arrested professor Ch. Kashim before it at 10.30 am on Sunday. A Division Bench of the High Court comprising Chief Justice R.S. Chauhan and Justice A. Abhisekh Reddy was dealing with an urgent house motion petition regarding the arrest of the professor Kashim.

The bench heard the case at the Chief Justice’s residence on Saturday. The Telangana Civil Liberties Committee unit President Gaddam Laxman filed a habeas Corpus Petition in the High Court. He alleged in the petition that Kashim had been illegally detained.
