IGI airport in New Delhi flooded due to heavy rain: three flights cancelled

New Delhi: IGI airport authorities cancelled three flights on Saturday due to heavy rains flooded into airport and water logged several areas in Delhi. Terminal 3 of IGI airport was water logged for half an hour before it was cleared.
Delhi International Airport Limited in a tweet said that due to sudden heavy rain, for a short period, there was water logging at the forecourt. Our team was immediately aligned to look into it and the issue has been resolved. Water logging in Delhi took place after relentless rains lashed since Friday late night. Several airline flights delayed due to inclement weather.
