Marie Christine (68) murdered in Hyderabad by adopted daughter

Hyderabad: Cyberabad police on Saturday arrested three persons and recovered a dead body of Marie Christine (68), French national near Himayat Sagar on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Speaking to the media persons Shamshabad Zone, DCP N Prakash Reddy said that the woman was murder by her adopted daughter and the latter’s live in partner.

Two days ago a case was registered that Christine was missing, said DCP. Roma the adopted daughter of the deceased, her live in partner Vikram Sriramula and his friend Rahul Gowtham have been arrested in connection with the case and the accused murdered Christine for her property.
The Rajendranagar police station on the night of September 9 received a complaint from Christine’s son-in-law Prashanth that she was missing since the morning. The police registered a case and took up the investigation.
Christine, who had migrated to India about 30 years ago and settled here, had established the Marica high schools at Towlichoki and at Dargha Khalij Khan Village to serve the poor and orphans. She survived with biological daughters Marie Solange who is married to Prashanth and stays at Sun City in Hyderabad, and Rebecca who is residing in Puducherry.
The deceased had also adopted Roma soon after her birth and another girl by the name of Priyanka. All three were staying at Dargha Khalij Khan.
