Jagan is going to launch “Jaganna Amma Vodi” on Jan. 9th

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is going to launch “Amma Vodi” scheme a prestigious flagship programs of “Navaratnas” of his party’s manifesto.

As a land mark of concluding day of his historic Padayatra of 3, 648 Kms, from Idupulapaya to Ichapuram in Srikakulam district on January 9th 2018. Jagan is going to launch “Jaganna Amma Vodi” scheme at Kuppam in Chittoor district on Thursday.

The “Jaganna Amma Vodi” scheme is benefitting 43 lakh mothers, who were sent their childrens to schools and colleges. Andhra Pradesh Government allotted six thousand five hundred crore rupees to this scheme. According to this scheme the Government will remit a sum of Rs. 15, 000/- for year, in the account of mother of the student.

This scheme’s main motto is to increase literacy percentage in the state. And also curtail the drop outs of the schools due to lack of financial support. The scheme also intended to eradicate the child labour system.

The Government decided to implement the scheme in the Aided, Un-Aided schools, Government schools, all ZP High Schools and Intermediate colleges only.
