Tadepalli: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched a new police service app on Monday at his camp office in Tadepalli, this kind of service is a first in the country’s police department.

This app provides citizens a convenient service to the citizen without going to the police station for their grievances. The citizens may file their grievances through this app without going police station for complaint. This app provides 87 services to the citizens. The app was designed with connecting all police stations and offices.

This app provides, citizens have an opportunity to complain their grievances through Whatsapp, Facebook and Twitter also. This app also convenient to make a video call to the police station if in emergency circumstances. This app categorically provides 12 services only to the women.

Citizens will get the status report of the complaints, arrest FIR’s recoveries etc., through this app. This app also provides the information on Road Safety, Cyber Safety, Women Safety and permissions for different programmes. This app also useful to the citizens to know the fact of the viral information in the media, it is genuine or fake.

AP DGP Gowtham Sawang explained about the app and its services to CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on the occasion of launching the app. All districts SP’s and other important police officers attended to this programme through video conferencing.

This “police seva app” provides the below given services to the citizens of AP:

• Direct drones visuals for uninterrupted vigil.
• Mobile finger print scanners equipment available in all police stations, and also BWC equipments.
• GPS facility and smart phones connected with 3500 vehicles to reach very quickly to the most remote areas.
• Integration, digital communication equipment to police stations and prisons.
