Jagan launches developmental works worth Rs 986 crore at Narsipatnam

Vishakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday launched developmental works worth Rs. 986 crores in Narsipatnam constituency in Anakapalli district.

         He laid the foundation stone for a medical college and other development works and he unveiled the plaques of Rs 470 crore Yeleru and Tandava canals link project, Rs 500 crore Government Medical College to be built in 52.15 acres at Narsipatnam and Rs 16.60 crore Narsipatnam highway widening work.

In his address on the occasion he criticized the opposition parties and their activities. He criticized that politics is not meant photo-shoot, politics is not meant drama, and politics is not meant cheat to public. He criticized the TDP Supremo’s  road show at Kandukuru in Nellore district is caused the loss of eight lives, due to his publicity mania. This is not called the politics.

His publicity mania has taken 39 persons lives at Godavari Pushkars in 2018. He cheats the public by his promises by weaving the loans of farmers and self-group women societies etc,. He also criticized actor cum politician Pawan Kalyan that he is working on be-half of Chandrababu’s benefit. Chandrababu is the producer, director and script writer to the drama which is acting by the Pawan Kalyan in AP politics.

Whenever Babu calls for acting in AP he will give call sheets and make the film and will go to Telangana. He is thinking that the politics means to help the poor, farmers, down trodden SCs, STs and Minorities who are in need.

The new medical college has an intake of 100 and the affiliated nursing college also has the same number of seats. The medical and nursing colleges will cater to the growing health and medical needs of Narsipatnam and the surrounding areas. People will get a major relief once the construction of the medical college with bed strength of 630 is completed, he said. New projects will usher in development of Narsipatnam and its surrounding areas and he urged the people to visualize the development of the region with the setting up of medical colleges at Narsipatnam, Paderu, Parvathipuram and Vizianagaram.

With the execution of Yeleru – Tandava canals link project, an ayacut of 51,465 acres under Tandava canal will be stabilized, while a new ayacut of 5,600 acres under Yeleru left canal will get irrigation water. The State Government is spending Rs 470 crore on the project. Farmers of several mandals in Narsipatnam and Kakinada will benefit from the project, he said.
