KCR formally launched Dalit Bandhu Scheme at Huzurabad

Huzurabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao on Monday said that Dalitism is creating a whole new history in the State. The development of Dalits should take place in the same way as in Telangana, he added.

CM KCR formally launched Dalit Bandhu Scheme in Shalapally village in Jammikunta Mandal under Huzurabad constituency. Speaking at the inaugural address at Shalapally KCR started chanting Jai Jai Bhim. Dalit Bandhu Scheme is more useful to the upliftment and employment opportunities to Dalits, he said.

He said that good results would come in the field of agriculture with the Raitu Bandhu scheme. He said that with the Raitu Bandhu scheme, Karimnagar district has been at the forefront of Telangana Sadhana since its inception. He hoped that the Dalit Bandhu movement would definitely succeed.

We will give a total of Rs 22,000 crore to Dalit Bandhu. I myself will look into the implementation of Dalit Bandhu again in Huzurabad, he said. CM assured that Dalit Bandhu amount will not be repay.

A comprehensive survey has revealed that there are 21,000 Dalit families in Huzurabad. If any person of a Dalit family is a Government servant, the Government will provide Dalit Bandhu Scheme to that family also, for the Government will release another Rs 2,000 crore in the next 15 days.
