YS Jagan: AP introducing CBSE syllabus in the State

Kakinada:  Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said the AP Government is introducing CBSE syllabus with English medium from PP to PG. The Government instructed Telugu subject is compulsory in the syllabus and also allotted a teacher for each subject.

YS Jagan dedicated the first phase construction of schools under the scheme Manabadi Nadu – Nedu on Monday at P Gannavaram ZP High School in East Godavari District.

YS Jagan attended as the Chief Guest at the program. The AP Government started schools today in the academic year 2021 – 22. Speaking on the occasion YS Jagan said the program Manabadi Nadu – Nedu to provide education of international standards in defiance of corporate schools. AP Government took renovation works of 15,715 Government schools in first phase with a total cost of Rs 3,669 crore.

Jagan in his address said that we are embarking on a good program today. There will be three events today. The first is that the campuses are open from today. The other two programs are Jaganna Vidya Kanuka (gift of Jaganna) and also starting the renovation works of second phase of schools. Students have been away from school since year two. The schools were opened as per the instructions of WHO and ICMR.

The AP Government reopened schools where the Covid – 19 positivity rates is less than 10% in the Village Secretariats, the Government has taken the Village Secretariats as units.Schools are reopened under the strict Covid – 19 protocols. The teachers have vaccinated everyone, he said.

CM YS Jagan said that AP Government is transforming the public schools in line with corporate schools. We are making 10 changes in every public school by day – to – day and among them are furniture, water supply, safe drinking water, paintings in schools. Facilities like green chalk board, English lab, fans, tube lights, retaining wall and kitchen are provided.

We have also brought an English lab in every school, he added. We have developed Anganwadis and the appearance of 57K schools is about to change.  The AP Government made changes in education system in the State by dividing the classes into six sections.

Pre-Primary education 1, 2 pp (Pre-Primary), foundation if there are one, two classes along with 1, 2 pp and foundation plus if there are one to 5 classes . If it is from 3rd to 8th class, it is pre-high school. If it is from 3rd to 10th class, it is high school. If it is from 3rd to 12th class, it has been changed to high school plus, said CM Jagan.
