Hyderabad: TRS President and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is going to launch Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party officially on December 9^th at 1.20 pm in Pragathi Bhavan in Hyderabad.

The ECI on Thursday approved the change of name of TRS into BRS. The ECI informed the changes to KCR on Thursday in a letter. He will organise the formation programme of the freshly renamed party. The official communique from ECI senior principal secretary KN Bhar addressed to Rao read the Election Commission accepted your request for change in the name of your party from Telangana Rashtra Samithi to Bharat Rashtra Samithi. The necessary notification in this regard will be issued in due course.

KCR will sign the official letter, received from the ECI, at 1.20 pm and send his reply. Later, he will hoist the BRS flag. There will be an inaugural ceremony. KCR has asked the State party executive committee members, party district Presidents, Ministers, MPs, MLAs and MLCs to attend the inaugural function of BRS to be held at Pragathi Bhavan.  Along with them, zilla parishad chairpersons, various corporations chairpersons, DCCB presidents, DCMS presidents and district Rythu Bandhu Samithi presidents are also invited to the inaugural function.

BRS party flag colour will remain pink. The party symbol will remain car. The Telangana map will be replaced with the India map. The Jai Telangana slogan on TRS flag will be replaced with Jai Bharat.
