Modi Received By Mamatha and Governor at Kolkata Airport

Kolkata: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived Kolkata on Friday to visit the cyclone Amphan hit districts of West Bengal at 10:00am. Cyclone Amphan killed 80 persons on Thursday. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamatha Benarjee and Governor had received the Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the airport in Kolkata shortly before 11:00am.

The Prime Minister, the Chief Minister and the Governor – were seen in face masks as they took stock of the situation and looked down at the cyclone-hit areas from their helicopter. Modi along Mamatha Benarjee and the Governor will take the Aerial survey in a helicopter in South Bengal. The Modi, the governor, the Chief Minister will stop over at Basirhat in North 24 Parganas for a meeting before returning to Kolkata. After Bengal, Aerial survey PM Modi will fly onwards for an aerial survey of Odisha.
