Mumbai: The Mumbai Crime Branch issued summons to the Chief Financing Officer of Republic TV Shiva Subramanium Sundaram and the heads of two leading media buying agencies to appear before the police for the purpose of investigation in the TRP scam on Saturday.

The employees of Box Cinema and Fakht Marathi channels have also been summoned by the police. Sundaram and four others will have to appear before the Crime Intelligence Office situated at the Mumbai Police Headquarters at Crawford Market. The summons notice sent to Sundaram, signed by ACP Shashank Sanbhor, stated there are reasonable grounds to believe that you are acquainted with certain facts and circumstance of the matter and the same are required to be ascertain from you and whereas, it is necessary to record your statement in this regard.

Therefore, you are directed to remain present before the undersigned at police headquarters at 11 am.
