All illegal migrants will be weeded out: Amit Shah

Guwahati: Illegal migrants in the state will not allow, said Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Amit Shah said that the Article 371 will not be scrapped, which is conferring the Special Rights to the North Eastern states.

   As a Home Minister, he visited the North Eastern state Assam for a two day visit from 8th September. After publication of NRC final list Shah visited the state and ascertained the facts. Amit Shah said that the Government will send all illegal migrants and weed-out the illegal migrants in not only Assam, but all over India. The Union Government will protect the rights of tribals and tribal culture in Assam. The Union Government will take steps to prepare NRC’s in all states to find out the illegal migrants. The migrants of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh will provide the citizenship as per the citizenship rules, he added.
