New Delhi: The armed forces have been given full freedom to respond in an “Adequate and proportionate manner” to any hostile act in accordance with their Judgement, Defense Minister Raj Nath Singh said to officials on Sunday.

The Defense Minister Raj Nath Singh reviewed operational readiness along with the LAC with the military brass here. Raj Nath Singh reviewed with CDS Bipin Rawat and three Army, Naval and Air Force Chiefs on Sunday, before he leaving to Moscow.
