New Delhi: The ACB Special Court ordered 14 day judicial custody to former Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram on Thursday. The former Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram was sent to Tihar jail in New Delhi.

    ACB Court sent Chidambaram to Tihar jail in INX media case. The investigation agency, CBI alleged that he had misused his finance portfolio in fused foreign funds to INX media case in 2007. The CBI alleged that he was taken bribes in the INX media case through his son Karthik Chidambaram consultancy at a tune of Rs. 3.50 crores.

  The jail authorities allotted cell number seven to P. Chidambaram in the jail. As per the request of his council, his colleague Kapil Sibal’s request the court allowed him VIP treatment in the jail and also allowed him medicines and the facilities of western equipments.
