Delhi High Court directed actress Juhi Chawla first approach the Government on 5G wireless networks

New Delhi: Delhi High Court Justice JR Midha directed the plaintiffs actor and environmentalist Juhi Chawla and two others first approach the Government with a representation in setting up of 5G wireless networks in the county.

He advised the plaintiffs to approach the Court for filing a suit against setting up of 5G wireless networks in the country, if the Government denied their representations.

Delhi High Court Justice JR Midha reserved the judgement on Wednesday after hearing the plea and directed the plaintiffs to approach the Government first. Juhi Chawla in her plea claimed that 5G wireless technology plans threaten to provoke serious, irreversible effects on humans and permanent damage to the Earth’s ecosystems.

They claims that if the telecom industry’s plans for 5G becomes a reality, no person, animal, bird, insect and plant on Earth will be able to avoid exposure, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to levels of RF radiation that are 10x to 100x times greater than what exists today, Juhi Chawla, Veeresh Malik and Teena Vachani filed the suit in Delhi High Court against the 5G wireless network.
