Durga Sharannavaratri Celebrations From September 29th to October 08th

Hyderabad: Devi Sharannavaratri Celebrations inaugurated on Sunday (Aashvayuja Shudha Padyami) at all Godesses Maata “Aadi Para Shakti “inincarnations called Godesses Durga, Godesses Kaali Maata (Kolkata), Godesses Brahmarambika (Sri Sailam), Godesses Maha Lakshmi Kollapur (Maharashtra), Godesses Saraswathi (Basara) in Telangana and many more places in the country. These celebrations will perform 10 days and concluded with Vijaya Dashami in the inincarnation of Godesses Raja Rajeshwari Devi. Godesses Durga Maata celebrations started on Sunday with the Alankaram of Swarna Kavacha Durga Maata at indra Kiladri in Vijayawada.

           People praise the Godesses Aadi Para Shakti with devotion as follows:

“ Ammala Gannayamma, Mugurammala Mula Putama, Chala Peddamma Surarulamma, Kaduparadi Buchadiamma

Durga Ma Amma, Dayabdinichuta Kavithva Mahatva patutvamul”.

       As the Hindu Mythology there are two tales relating Dasara or Devi Navaratri Celebrations.

Tale of Durgamudu a Rakshasha King: Durgamudu prayed a long Brahma a long with (many years) with stringent conditions. The Brahma who is satisfied with his pooja’s and prayers asked Durgamudu, Why he is praying since long time. What he need from him? After saying Brahma before him Durgam praised Lord Brahma and asked him to give four Vedas to him. Brahma says ok and gave Vedas to him.

            Durgamudu feels of proud of his gifts given by Brahma and he used to torture the Brahmins, Rishis, even gods. The harassed & tortured victims went to kailasam where Shiva Parvathi’s were residing. After hearing the victims tortures Maa Godesses Parvathi or Aadi Parashakti came for their rescue. Then Godesses Aadi Para Shakti took ininincarnation of Durga Maata & fight with the Durgamudu nearly 11 days and killed him.

         Then all sections of people in the world offers pooja’s to the Durga Maata and Celebrated festivals with joy. The day which killed Durgamudu is called Durgashtami, the next day the maa offered pooja’s to the swords, Dalls, Arrows and other deadly weapons, which killed Durgamudu is celebrating Maharnavami and the next day is celebrating the “Vijaya Dashami”.

Tale of Rakshasha King  Mahishasura Maa Godesses Aadi Para Shakti incarnated as “Mahishasura Mardhini” and killed a rakshasha Mahishasura who suffers to the Brahmins, Rishis & Womens. In this tale Ashtami is called Mahishasura Mardhini. Next day Maharnavami & the later day is celebrating as Vijaya Dashami.

          Devi Navaratri Celebrations celebrating at Indra Kiladri in Vijayawada (AP), at Sri Sailam in AP. Sri Kaali temple in Kolkata and Ujjaini and many other places devotees performed pooja’s.

         The Godesses Kanaka Durga Maata Navaratri celebrations scheduled at Durga Malleshwara Swamy Temple in Indra Kilaadri in Vijayawada.

Sunday, 29 September 2019 – Sri Swarna Kavachalankrita Durga Devi – Ashwayuja Shuddha Padyami – Swarna Kavacham Sari – Gold Colour Saree

Monday, 30 September 2019 – Sri Balatripura Sundari Devi – Ashwayuja Shuddha Vidiya – Light Pink Colour Saree.

Tuesday, 1 October 2019 – Sri Gayathri Devi – Ashwayuja Shuddha Vidiya (Vruddhi) – Orange Colour Saree.

Wednesday, 2 October 2019 – Sri Annapoorna Devi – Ashwayuja Shuddha Chaturthi – Yellow Sandalwood Colour Saree.

Thursday, 3 October 2019 – Sri Lalitha Tripura Sundari Devi – Ashwayuja Shuddha Panchami – Pure Gold Colour Saree.

Friday, 4 October 2019  – Sri Mahalakshmi Devi – Ashwayuja Shuddha Shashti – Pink Colour Saree.

Saturday, 5 October 2019 – Sri Saraswati Devi – Ashwayuja Shuddha Saptami – Moola Nakshatra Pooja – White Colour Saree.

Sunday, 6 October 2019 – Sri Durga Devi – Ashwayuja Shuddha Ashtami – Red Colour Saree.

Monday, 7 October 2019 – Sri Mahishasuramardhini Devi – Ashwayuja Shuddha Navami (Mahanavami) – Brown or Red colour hand-loom saree Tuesday, 8 October 2019 – Sri Rajarajeshwari Devi – Ashwayuja Shuddha Dashami (Vijayadashami) – Green Colour
