Former CM of Punjab Amarinder Singh met Amit Shah on former issues

New Delhi: Punjab former Chief Minister Amarinder Singh called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah at Delhi on Wednesday saying they had discussed on farmers issues and farm laws. The speculations about Captain Amarinder Singh are going to change his political parties’ entry, after he resigned as a Congress Chief Minister of Punjab with humiliation recently.

          After meeting with Amit Shah, Amarinder in a tweet said that hashtag #NoFarmersNoFood. Discussed the prolonged farmers’ agitation against Farm Laws and urged him to resolve the crisis urgently with repeal of the laws and guarantee MSP, besides supporting Punjab in crop diversification.

Amarinder Singh’s media advisor Raveen Thukral said too much is being read into his visit to Delhi, which was to meet some friends and vacate the Kapurthala House, which is the Punjab Chief Minister’s residence in Delhi. Senior leader Ghulam Nabi Azad wrote to AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi, calling for a meeting of the party’s highest decision making body about events in Punjab set off a renewed unrest by the dissidents in the Congress.
