HCA President Azhar, Panel Five Members Win

Hyderabad: Former team India captain Azharuddin elected as president of HCA. The total executive members and a Councilor of his panel won in the election held on Friday, 2019.

   The HCA office bearers posts, three panels participating in the contest but the two panels lost their election without having a member.

    The HCA is having 227 total votes. Mohammed Azharuddin won a majority of 73 votes against his nearest rival Prakash Chand Jain who got only 73 votes and K. Dileep Kumar got only three votes. Azhar got 147 votes.

  K. John Manoj got 136 votes and elected as a Vice-President. His rival Sardar Daljit Singh got 87 votes. For the post of Secretary R.Vijayanand won with 137 votes against his rivals S. Venkateshwaran (62) and R.M. Bhasker (24).

   Naresh Sharma won as a Joint Secretary with 130 votes, and his rivals J. Shivaji Yadav got 82 votes, Satish Chandra Srivastav got eight votes and two invalid.  

   Surender Kumar Agarwal won as a treasurer with 141 votes. His rivals K. Hanumanth Reddy got 60 and C. Babu Rao got 22 votes only.   First time in the history of HCA P. Anu Radha elected as a Councilor with 103 votes. Her rivals Ravinder Singh got 81 votes and Vinod Kumar got 38 votes and one vote invalid.
