India’s Nishad Kumar clinches Silver Medal In Men’s High Jump (T47) in Tokyo Paralympics
Tokyo: Indian Paralympian Nishad Kumar won Silver Medal on Sunday in the Men’s high jump (T46/47) category at the Tokyo Paralympics. The other Indian in the fray Ram Pal finished a creditable fifth with best jump of 1.94m.

In high jump event American Roderick Townsend set a new world record by jumping 2.15m to win the gold medal. The other American Dallas Wise (T46) had a best jump of 2.06m the same as Nishad Kumar to also win the Silver Medal.
