Kerala High Court grants interim bail to Lakshadweep film maker Aisha Sultana in sedition case

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala High Court granted one week interim bail to film maker Aisha Sultana in a sedition case. The Kerala High Court directed Lakshadweep police, if they decide to arrest her after questioning her in a sedition case; the court has reserved its final order in her anticipatory bail plea.

She tendered an apology before the court today, saying she never realized that the use of the term bio weapon was an offence. Speaking at a news debate on a regional channel, the filmmaker had said that decisions by the new administrator had led to the Covid – 19 spikes in the Union Territory.
