Mumbai: Nearly ten people died in a three storey building collapsed incident on Monday at about 3.30 am in Patel Compound area Bhiwandi. In this incident nearly five people injured and morethan 20 people trapped under the collapsed building.

The NDRF rescue operation is underway at the site building collapse in Bhiwandi. According to the Thane Municipal Corporation portion of the building collapsed and many occupants were trapped in the debris of the collapsed building. It was not known how old was the Jhilani building, as it was called, and if it was in the list of dilapidated structures marked by the civic body, the official said.
