New Delhi: There is no possibility to play cricket with Pakistan, said External Affairs Minister S. Jai Shanker. Speaking to the media persons in New York on Thursday, he said that Pakistan’s support to terrorism will cause no relationship to that country.

He also said that New Delhi can’t take a tea break. External affairs minister said that dominating narrative of the relationship between India and Pakistan is of terrorism, suicide bombing, violence and then you say, ok guys tea break, let us go and play cricket. The minister highlighted the recent terror attacks @ URI, Pathankot & Pulvama in India.

He also said that it is a hard narrative to sell to people… it is a democracy, sentiments do matter & one message. He also said, he don’t want to give you terrorism by night and it is business as usual during the day.

He said the issue is how can he talk to a country that is conducting terrorism and which frankly he would say follows a policy if in plausible deniability. He also stressed the history of India and Pakistan was not a normal.
