New Delhi: The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swathi Maliwal staged an indefinite fast at Samatha Sthal here on Wednesday. She firmly said that she will end her fast only after her demand for rapist to be hanged within six months of their conviction is met.

         She began hunger strike at Jantar Mantar on Tuesday, but later she and her supporters was shifted to Samatha Sthal, the memorial of Former Deputy Prime Minister Babu Jagjivan Ram.  Several women reached Samatha Sthal near Raj Ghat to express their solidarity to the DCW chief.        She said that her hunger strike is continuing.
