Rajahmundry: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the irrigation officials to complete the Polavaram spill-way works on July 2021. He visited Polavaram project through aerial survey on Friday.

After aerial survey he visited the ongoing project works in person and enquired about the progress of the works with the officials. Later he reviewed the project works and he asked the officials what are the basic amenities they need to complete the Polavaram project, within the stipulated time July 2020-2021. He also directed the officials to complete the R&R works, which villages are sub-merge in the water stored in the project.

He also said to the officials to initiate steps to store the flood water, through the spill-way to other projects. The government gave propriety to Polavaram project in a war footing method, he said.
