Punjab also extended lock down upto May 1st: Amarendra Singh

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Amarendra Singh announced his Government’s decision on Friday to extend the lock down until May 1st. The Punjab cabinet has decided to extend lock down and curfew till May 1st, the seriousness of the situation arising out of Covid- 19 in the state.

The Chief Minister appeal the people to stay home and strictly observe health safeguards as you have done so far, he also said thanks to the people in a tweet. Punjab and Odisha are Governed by non- BJP parties and their taking the lead in prolonging the lock down in the states. They also appealed the people for continuing the enforcement of social distancing.
