Hyderabad: Tollywood epic film RRR’s Naatu Naatu song nominated in the Best Original Song Category at the 95^th Academy Awards (Oscars). Along with Naatu Naatu song, Applause (Tell it Like a Woman), Hold My Hand (Top Gun: Maverick), Lift Me Up (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever), and This is a Life (Everything Everywhere All At Once) in the category. The RRR film is directed by SS Rajamouli.

The Oscar nominations were announced on Tuesday evening by actors Allison Williams and Riz Ahmed. The individual nominees for the song Naatu Naatu are Kala Bhairava, MM Keeravani, and Rahul Sipligunj. This marks another nomination in the Best Original Song category for India, following AR Rahman and Gulzar’s win for Jai Ho in Slumdog Millionaire.
