Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandra Sekhar Rao named the Goddess names to the barrages and pump houses under the Kaleshwaram lift Irrigation projects. According to the CM office KCR named Medigadda barrage and the Kannepally pump house after goddess Laxmi. The Annaram barrage and Siripuram pump house were named as Goddess name Saraswathi. Sundilla barrage and Goliwada pump house was named as Goddess Parvathi.

  The Nandi Medaram reservoir cum pump house was named as Lord Nandi and Laxmipuram pump house were named as Goddess Gayathri.
