Ayodhya: A time capsule containing the history of the Ram Janma Bhoomi moment is to be placed beneath site of the construction of a Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Ram Janma Bhoomi Teerth of Kshetra trust member Kameshwar Chaupal on Monday said that the capsule will be lowered 200 feet below the surface to ensure that there are no disputes in future.

The time capsule will be buried along with the foundation of the Ram Mandir, he said. The capsule will put 200 feet is the depth of the foundation, he added. He also said it will also contain the complete history of Ayodhya and detailed life of Rama written in Sanskrit on “Tamra Patras”. When asked why the plates would be inscribed in only Sanskrit, he said it was language in which one could long sentences in very words.

The struggle for Ram Janma Bhoomi, including the long drawn case in the Supreme Court, has a lesson for the current and upcoming generations. The time capsule will be placed so that anyone who wishes to study the history of the temple will get the facts, he said.

Ram Lalla to don ‘Nava Ratna’ attire: The idol of Ram Lalla at Ram Janma Bhoomi will don new attire fitted with nine jewels during the “Bhoomi Poojan” of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Ram dal seva trust chief pandit Kalki Ram will present the special costume to the Ram idol. These customs will be fitted with Jewels of nine varieties, making it “Nava Ratna” clothing.
