UNESCO inscribed Ramappa Temple in the heritage list

New Delhi: Rudreshwara Swami’s Ramappa Temple at Palampet in Mulugu district of Telangana State inscribed as the UNESCO Heritage list. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Cultural Minister G Kishan Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao expressed happiness on recognizing Ramappa Temple in the heritage list of UNESCO.

Ramappa Temple was built in the 13th Century by the Kakatiya emperors. It stood as the engineering, culture and sculpture iconic construction in the Kakatiya dynasty.
