New Delhi: Rudreshwara Swami’s Ramappa Temple at Palampet in Mulugu district of Telangana State inscribed as the UNESCO Heritage list. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Cultural Minister G Kishan Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao expressed happiness on recognizing Ramappa Temple in the heritage list of UNESCO.

Ramappa Temple was built in the 13^th Century by the Kakatiya emperors. It stood as the engineering, culture and sculpture iconic construction in the Kakatiya dynasty.
