Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy found negative, when he undergo a Covid-19 test on Friday at his camp office at Thadepally. He was tested with the rapid test kit which imported from South Korea.

The Covid-19 rapid test kit will complete the test within 10 minutes, said Covid-19 control center state co-coordinator Dr. K Rambabu. He also said that the Chief Minister has taken the test to send a message to the people to go for Covid-19 test without any hesitation or any doubt, he added.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy ordered for 10 lakhs rapid kits to conduct Covid-19 tests in the state. The government received one lakh test kits from Seoul, South Korea in a special chartered flight on Friday. The remaining nine lakhs rapid test kits will reach to the state very soon.

In the rapid test kits, there are two strips i.e., one IGG and the IGM. The person who is conducting the test will put blood drops on the two strips, later he put control solutions on the strips. Within the 10 minutes the rapid test kit declares test result, he said. The rapid test kit shows two lines on the strips is called Covid-19 positive and it shows one line on the strip will treated as negative, he added.
