YSRCP Candidates Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy, Pilli Subash Chandra Bose, Parimal Nathwani and Mopidevi Venkata Ramana Elected to Rajya Sabha with 38 Votes each

Vijayawada: The four of YSRCP candidates won Rajya Sabha seats on Friday. As per the rotation of vacancies in the Rajya Sabha, Andhra Pradesh has four vacancies in 2020. YSRCP field four candidates for four vacancies i.e., Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy, Parimal Nathwani, Pilli Subash Chandra Bose and Mopidevi Venkata Ramana. The opposition TDP field Varla Ramaiah as its candidate for Rajya Sabha.

The parties strength in the 175 members assembly in AP is like as, YSRCP have 151 members, TDP have only 23 members and Jana Sena have only one member in the assembly. As per the first preferential votes to win a candidate is 35. YSRCP Chief and CM of AP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy allotted 38 members to each candidate.

The YSRCP members won with 1st preferential votes 38 each. The TDP candidate Varla Ramaiah got only 17 votes out of 23 of its party. Two members Atchan Naidu and A. Satya Prasad are not utilized their votes because if Actahana is under judicial custody, getting treatment GGH Guntur. Another member A. Satya Prasad is self quarantined due to Covid-19.

The remaining 21 members, three members are already away from the party since eight months. The 21 members utilized their votes including dissident MLAs, attended the polling. Four votes of TDP was invalid, only 17 votes are valid to the candidate. The TDP chief N Chandra Babu Naidu is fielded his candidate only to show his envy on the ruling party and for the significance of his party’s identity, by knowing clearly there is no sufficient members to get elected their party member to Rajya Sabha.
