State divided into four regions: G.N. Rao report suggests
Vijayawada: The experts Committee on AP development and on the Capital Amaravathi headed by Retired IAS G.N. Rao’s Committee submitted its recommendations to the AP Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday at Tadepalli.
G.N. Rao along with four committee members presented at the time of submitting report to CM. After submitting the report, G.N. Rao said that the recommendations in their report that the state will be divided into four regions i.e. Rayalaseema region, South Coastal region, Middle Coastal region and North Coastal region, said in a press meet.
He also said that the High Court will be suggested at Kurnool in Rayalaseema region as per the Sri Bagh pact. In the Middle Coastal, Amaravathi will be recommended as Legislative, Raj Bhavan and other Government departments. The North Coastal region in Vizag recommended for Secretariat and CM Camp Office, the Committee also recommended High Court benches in Amaravathi and Vishakhapatnam also.
