
SIT to take photographs of the 11 crores of the currency which was seized at a private farm house relating to the AP liquor scam case: ACB Court
Vijayawada: The ACB Court directed the SIT to take photographs of the 11 crores of the currency which was seized at a private farm house relating to the AP liquor scam case.
The SIT seized 11 crore rupees of cash in 12 carton boxes at a private farm house in Hyderabad two days ago. SIT informed that the seized cash is relating to the accused Raj Kesireddy.
Knowing this fact Raj Kesireddy submitted a memo in ACB Court that he has no connectivity with that seized amount 11 crore rupees. He also informed the Court that SIT is playing a foul game by producing this amount that belongs to me. He also urged the ACB Judge that to take photograph of the seized amount with serial numbers on each currency note.
It proves that the seized currency when it was printed, which year and drawn from whose account. The SIT saying that the amount was put in 2019 at the farm house, later the Court ordered the SIT to take photographs of the seized currency on Friday. But, the SIT officials tried to deposit the amount at SBI, Vijayawada West branch without taking photographs.
By knowing this fact, Raj Kesireddy lawyers filed another memo in the ACB Court of Saturday and brought the facts before to the ACB Judge. The ACB Judge directed the SIT officials to take photograph of each seized note with panchanam and don’t mix these 11 crore rupees with the bank chested amount. The Court also directed the SBI Machavaram branch Manager don’t mix the seized amount with the chested amount until further Court orders.
