APSRTC Merger into the Government: YS Jagan

Amaravathi: The AP cabinet took key decisions on Wednesday’s meeting under the chairmanship of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The AP cabinet accepted the retired IPS officers Anjaneya Reddy’s committee report to merge the APSRTC into the Government.

          The cabinet also took a decision to form rules and regulations within 90 days for the APSRTC merger. The cabinet also scrapped the Polavaram project tender to the Navayuga Engineering limited and go for tenders for reverse tendering. The cabinet also took decision to handover the case of illegal mining by Gurajala Ex-MLA’s to CBI.

          The cabinet decided to handed over probe of Sadavarthi land case to vigilance and also the YSR marriage scheme of Rs. 1,00,000/- to SC, ST’s and Rs. 50,000/- to minorities.
