Chevella: AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday announced that the Congress will offer Rs. 12 lakhs financial assistance to SC and ST families under comes into power in Telangana Ambedkar Abhaya Hastam scheme.

Speaking at the Chevella Praja Garjana meeting at Chevella he announced 12 promises to the SC and ST’s in Telangana, if the Congress will comes into power in 2023 elections in Telangana. He expressed dissatisfaction over the lack of support from the Telangana people and criticized KCR for treating the State as personal property.

TPCC President A Revanth earlier revealed the 12 point plan focusing on SC and ST communities.  The Congress focused the main objects of the SC and ST declaration, which they announced for 2023 elections in the State.

• Setting SC and ST reservations at 18% and 12% respectively.
• Offering Rs 12 lakh financial help to SC and ST families under
• Ambedkar Abhaya Hastam.
• Providing land for the homeless and Rs 6 lakh for home construction.
• Introducing benefits for Madigas and special reservations for SCs and STs in government and private jobs.
• Assuring ownership rights for Podu and assigned lands.
• Allocating Rs 25 lakh per Tanda under the Sammakka Sarakka Rural scheme.
• Establishing three corporations for SCs and STs, each receiving Rs 750 crore.
• Providing educational support including overseas studies through Vidya Jyothulu.
