ACB Found Rs. 70 Cr Dis-Appropriate Assets of Malkajgiri ACP

Hyderabad: The ACB slethes filed a case against Malkajgiri ACP Y. Narasimha Reddy on the charges of dis-appropriate assets and fine a worth of Rs. 70 Cr. The ACB slethes conducted simultaneous searches in Telangana and in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday.

The ACB conducted searches at 25 locations in Hyderabad, including his Mahendra Hills residence, Warangal, Jangaon, Nalgonda, Karimnagar and Ananthapur in AP from where he hails. The ACB Director General in a statement said that the government value of the properties found so far is Rs. 7.5 crore. The local market value of the same is about Rs. 70 Cr.

According to the ACB sources Narsimha Reddy was present at his Mahendra Hills house when the ACB slethes were conducting searches. We have not arrested him yet. Search and security are likely to continue even on Thursday, said officials. The ACB teams found 55 acres of agricultural land in Ananthapur, four plots of 1960 sq yds near cyber towers in Madhapur, one plot in Pocharam and another on Hyderabad outskirts, a commercial G+3 building at Hafiz pet, two houses in Mahendra Hills and Madhapur and Rs. 15 Lakhs cash in their raids.

The ACB also said they are yet to open two bank lockers operated by ACP.
