AP wants cordial relations with neighbouring States: AP CM YS Jagan

Ananthapur: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday said that he and his party YSRCP believe in the cordial relations with the neighboring States Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka on water disputes.

YS Jagan launched Agri labs and RBKs in the Raidurgam Constituency in Ananthapur district on the occasion of 77th birthday of late Dr YS Rajashekar Reddy, which is celebrating as “Rythu Dinotsavam”.

Speaking on the occasion YS Jagan said that the community of farmer of any state is called as farmer. AP will respect all farmers which ever in the State. We strive for their welfare and not for their loss.

Water is very precious to each and every farmer in any State, so not to politicize the water disputes, Jagan advised to the political party leaders in the neighbouring States. All political party leaders must set aside their political disparities on farmers and water issues, he said.

AP Government is utilizing its official water right to utilize the assured waters in Krishna River which is signed by the Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, former AP CM N Chandra Babu Naidu and the Union Government on June 19th, 2015. According to this agreement Telangana got 298 TMCs, AP 513 TMCs respectively. We are utilizing assured water rights to Pothireddypadu Lift Irrigation Scheme, he said.
