Polavaram: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the Polavaram project authorities to take necessary steps to complete the works Polavaram project and link work for both canals should be completed by June 2022.

AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Monday conducted an aerial view at the Polavaram project. He inspected the Polavaram project works at the field level along with officials. The CM himself inspected the Polavaram project from Hill View Point. The Polavaram project authorities briefed on the progress of the project work so far to CM YS Jagan.

Later YS Jagan reviewed the project works with the officials. The authorities explained to CM that the spillway had installed 42 gates. They also explained the condition of the lower cofferdam works and suggested that the link work for the two canals, tunnel and lining work should be completed by June 2022.

 

 

 

 

 

CM Jagan clarified that the ECRF dam should be completed by the 2023 Kharif season. After aerial view of the project, CM YS Jagan spoke to Polavaram residents. He inspected the Spillway and Approach channel and then viewed the photo gallery of Polavaram works. CM Jagan was accompanied by Irrigation Minister Anil Kumar Yadav and officials.
