AP Budget Session Will Commence From June 16th

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government is going to convene assembly session from June 16th for the approval of state regular budget 2020-21. The government already got three months approval from April to June through an ordinance, due to the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.

The assembly secretary P. Balakrishnama Charyulu issued a bulletin on June 14th on the commencement of assembly session, according for the Covid- 19 pandemic rules and regulations. The AP governor Bishwa Bushan Hari Chandan will address the joint session of the AP assembly and council members on June 16th, through virtual video conferencing. It is the first ever session convened in the country; no other states have not convened yet.

As per the reliable sources, the AP assembly budget sessions is going to convene only two days i.e, June 16th and 17th, the schedule was not confirming the assembly sources yet. In a bulletin assembly secretary asked the ministers and MLAs to come alone to the assembly premises without PS, and PS’s. The assembly also restricted the visitors to enter into the assembly to see the proceedings. As well as the bulletin said the MLAs and ministers are also requested not to bring their gun mens into the assembly premises.

The assembly bulletin also said that the media points were also banned during the assembly session, due to the Covid-19 pandemic spreading.
