Qingdao: China has inaugurated a new high speed rail line from the eastern Chinese seaside city of Qingdao. The Maglev train levitates above the track using electro-magnetic force, with no touch between body and rail.

China has developed a magnetic railway capable of moving at 600 kms per hour.
China has been utilizing the technology on a small basis for almost two decades. The Chinese Maglev project started in 2016, with a successful trial run scheduled for June 2020.

It is considered as the fastest train ever built by the country. It holds the world record for the fastest moving vehicle on land.
