Jagan Urges Modi for PMAY Funds to Greenfield Colonies

Vijayawada: AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to include providing of basic infrastructure in Greenfield colonies under PMAY scheme, which sponsored by the central housing scheme.

AP CM YS Jagan wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently, he said that a flag ship programme PMAY of the centre, which is implemented jointly by the ministry of housing and urban development and ministry of rural development. The state governments are developed the basic infrastructure in Greenfield colonies, at present.

The PMAY program’s main moto is to provide houses to economically weaker sections, including slum dwellers by ensuring a pakka house to all eligible beneficiaries by 2022. In his letter Jagan wrote that the PMAY’s are objectives will not be fulfilled without the development of basic infrastructure in Greenfield colonies.
