Chennai: DMK Chief MK Stalin sworn – in as the 26^th Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu at Raj Bhavan in Chennai on Friday at 9 am. Along with Stalin, another 33 Ministers also took oath. Stalin elected to Tamil Nadu Assembly as an MLA for seventh term.

Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit administered the oath with MK Stalin and other Minister at Raj Bhavan. The swearing-in ceremony, which began at 9 am, had only around 250 invitees were permitted due to existing Covid – 19 restrictions. Of the invitees, each DMK MLA is given one entry pass while the Ministers are given two passes.

Former Chief Minister O Panneerselavam, leaders from alliance parties including Congress’s P Chidambaram, MDMK chief Vaiko and top state officials took part in the ceremony. Stalin’s son Udhayanidhi and other notable members were present at the ceremony.
