New Delhi: Delhi Commission for Women Chairperson Swathi Maliwal wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi by demanding implement “Disha Act” entire the country.  The Disha Act was made by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, with an intention of immediate punishment to the culprits, who commits atrocities against women will convict within 21 days.

  The AP Assembly passed Disha Act on Friday unanimously. Swathi Maliwal who is on hunger strike since ten days in New Delhi, demanding the death penalty to the accused who committed crimes on women. She also expressed sadness over the indifferent attitude over the issue women’s safety.
