Nearly 10 New Born Babies killed in Fire Accident in Jhansi Rani Hospital
Jhansi: Nearly 10 New Born Babies were killed in a fire accident in Jhansi Rani Hospital at Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh. According to the divisional magistrate statement the oxygen cylinder concentration center caused the incident.
The incident occurs in the hospital at 9:45pm on Friday. There are nearly 56 babies in the hospital at the time of erecting the fire in the hospital.
The hospital authority shifted the babies to the nearby hospital for better treatment. The President “Draupati Murmur” and Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed Grief over the incident. UP Deputy Chief Minister and Medical and Health Minister rushed to the spot immediately and supervise the situation and ordered the authority to provide better medical facilities to the babies.
UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced exgratia of Rs. 5 Lakhs to the parents of the causalities of New Born Babies and also announced Rs. 50, 000 exgratia to the burned injured babies. He also directed the officials to probe on the incident and submit the report within 24 hours. And also directed the authorities to provide better treatment to the babies who are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
