Son Kills Father for Job on Compassionate Grounds

Hyderabad: An employee of Singareni Collieries Company Ltd M. Narasaiah (50) was killed by his sons on May 26th Night by strangling his neck with a towel when he was in the deep asleep. Narasaiah’s sons Tirupati and Rakesh planned to kill their father, and get a job in compassionate grounds.

Narasaiah a pump operator at SCCL, to death few days before his superannuation. Infact the police recovered the body from Pyre just before the cremation was to take place. The incident took place on May 26th at Kothur village of Peddapalli District and came to light on Saturday, after police arrested the two sons of the Narasaiah.

Narasaiah’s accused son M. Tirupati (25) an unemployed polytechnic diploma holder, killed his father Narasaiah at their house in Kothur, said police. Tirupati’s younger brother Rakesh (19) an ITI student, and mother Tara, were also part of the plot to kill Narasaiah. The SCCL employees gave farewell function to Narasaiah on May 26th; his retirement day is on May 31st.

Narasaiah’s son Tirupati hatched a plan to kill his father and told this to his mother Tara and brother Rakesh. They moved a relative’s house in Godavari Khani three days before the murder on the night of May 25, Narasaiah consumed liquor at a function, said police. During the early hours of May 26, Tirupati strangled Narasaiah using a towel while he was asleep, said SI Dharmaram.
