Noida: The authorities demolished the Twin Towers in Noida on Sunday afternoon at 2.30 pm, which was built against the construction rules in Noida.

The Twin Towers building were razed to the ground by pressing a button using the water palm technique. The Twin Towers collapsed in just nine seconds. Over 3,700 kg of explosives were used to bring down these towers. A no-flying zone has been implemented at the Twin Towers and a restricted area of 500 metres has been declared around it. But, before the demolition process, the police took strong action.

Locals around the Twin Towers were temporarily evacuated. However, those who provided shelter nearby remained in their flats till Sunday morning. At seven in the morning, they went to the shelter centres from there.
