New Delhi: The Government constituted two Special Investigation Teams to probe the pro, anti-CAA clashes in the North East Delhi. The two SITs DCPs Joy Tirkey and Rajesh Deo, they will have four Assistant Commissioner rank officers each and the probe will be supervised by Additional Commissioner of Police B.K. Singh.

The police registered 48 FIRs. According to the Delhi police PRO they have evidences and are registering more FIRs. They have conducted around 350 meetings with Aman Committee in whole Delhi, specifically in North East Delhi. The family of an Intelligence Bureau staffer Ankit Sharma (26) who was found dead in a drain near his home in North East Delhi’s Chandbagh area. Has accused Tahir Hussain of being behind the killing, on the complaint of Ankit’s father, the police registered an FIR against Hussain, who is Counselor of that area, but he rejected the charges against him.

The Counselor belongs to AAP party; the AAP has suspended Counselor Tahir Hussain from the primary membership of the party. Till police finishes its probe.
