Geneva: The World Health Organization (W.H.O) is set to resume its trial of Hydroxy Chloroquine for potentially use against the new Covid- 19, said W.H.O Head Tedros Adhanom on Wednesday, after testing was suspended due to health concerns.

The UN body had paused its large study of the anti- Malarial drug to treat Covid- 19 due to fears it increased death rates and irregular heartbeats in patients. But Tedros told an online media briefing that W.H.O experts had advised the continuation of all trials including HCQ, whose highest profile backer for its use against the Covid- 19 has been US President Donald Trump.
