Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed deep shock over the auto accident in Chillakondaiahpalle village of Tadimarri mandal in Sri Sathya Sai district on Thursday morning. He announced an exgratia of Rs. Ten Lakhs to the bereaved family members who died in the accident and also he enquired about the details with CMO. He also directed to provide better treatment to the injured.
An auto caught fire after coming into contact with a high tension wire near Chillakondaiahpalle village of Tadimarri mandal. Five women labourers were burnt alive in the mishap. There were 12 passengers in the auto when the accident took place. The deceased were identified as Kanthamma, Ramulamma, Rathamma, and Lakshi Devi of Guddampalle and Kumari of Peddakotla. Two persons received severe burn injuries and undergoing treatment in a Government hospital.
