Rahul a “Liar of the Year”: Javdekar

New Delhi: The Union Minister Prakash Javdekar slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his remarks that the NPR and the CAA were “Tax” on the poor. Javdekar on Friday said that Rahul was the “Liar of the Year” for his numerous lies that had “embarrassed” people and even his party.

He also said that the Congress party is trying to fan instability by misleading people over the issues related to CAA, which have trigged protest in different parts of the country. He also said that the NPR data was used to identify the targeted beneficiaries of welfare schemes. He also alleged that collecting tax was the “Culture” of the opposition party, be it the “Jayanthi” tax, the “Coal” tax or the “2G” tax. When Rahul was the Congress Chief he would say anything and lie all the time, he said.

Now Rahul is not the President of the Congress but he continues to lie. If there was category of the “Liar of the Year” he would be the recipient, he said. His comments used to embarrass his family, he said.
